The Kent Woodworker Club was formed over 20 years ago by a group of enthusiastic woodworkers in the Kent area who felt that, through fellowship, the interests of woodworkers of all ages and abilities could be furthered.

As it has not been the policy of the Club to canvas for

Members, membership has been restricted to about 50.

The only qualification asked for is a keen interest in woodworking.Whilst new members with special skills will be most welcome,it must be stressed that beginners are equally welcome. The current membership is 40.

The Club meets on the last Saturday of the month at Axminster Tools, just off the A249,in the village of Bobbing, near Sittingbourne, starting  normally at 2pm.

During the year it is proposed that we invite some nationally known speakers,in some cases this may extend to a full day.

Other meetings are of a pratical nature, including demonstrations by club members.

The annual subscription is £15.00.Occasionally it may be necessary to levy an additional charge to members attending  a meeting where the invited speaker has  expenses that have to be met.
